Workshop on Bio Energy organized by TERI
The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in Delhi organized a training course on “Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency” from 4th to 22nd January, 2010. The course was supported by ITEC (Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation) and its corollary SCAAP (Special Commonwealth African Assistance Program).

The participants included various Govt nominated officials and researchers from across the globe.
As part of this initiative, BECI, supported by Abellon CleanEnergy, conducted a one-day interactive workshop on “BioEnergy, an Enabler for a Sustainable Future” focusing on bio-energy technologies and interdisciplinary bio-energy models for sustainable growth. Innovative methods of producing biofuels and their applications were discussed. The workshop also included an interactive case-study on energy scenarios in participating countries where delegates shared sector-based energy distribution, biomass resource availability and energy potential as well as development of successful bio energy models in their respective countries.
Bio - Energy Times is an attempt to capture and share ideas and efforts from across the globe in the domain of clean energy , with a specific emphasis on Bio Energy.
